We want to hear from you! As our members your opinion is very important to us! Recent changes in State Fire Code have been at the forefront of the legislative agenda for many businesses around the state. Numerous business owners and chamber heads have spent countless hours testifying to get their voices heard on this important issue.

House of Representatives Fire Code Commission

A special House of Representatives commission has begun studying the impact of the State Fire Code. The Commission has currently heard many small businesses attest to the burdens placed on them by the Fire Code as it currently stands. On Monday, April 9th, Chamber President, Susan Pagnozzi will be testifying in front of the commission and would like to take with her your stories, issues with and solutions to this problem which is literally crippling thousands of businesses across the state. We invite you to post these on our blog anonymously and we will share your input with your representatives. Cranston’s new mayor, Michael Napolitano wants to hear from you, the business community, regarding your opinions, concerns and experiences with doing businesses in Cranston.
